FEP is Freshment Enrichment Program. It’s an event for all of new student of BINUS on their very first semester. I’m BINUSIAN 2019. That means I will be graduate on 2019. Aamiin… FEP will be held for a whole semester. There’s 3 part of FEP. GO (General Orientation), AO (Academic Orientation), and CLO (Campus Life Orientation). 1 week for GO, 2 weeks for AO, and CLO the rest of it. I will explain GO and AO

General Orientation

On the first day of GO, I’m not nervous at all, because I already have 2 friends from the same school. Syifa and Kevin. I’m in the 2nd batch, BBN02. The first day we are introduced ourself to our friends and all the BC (Buddy Coordinator. Who’s guide us for the whole semester). We learn yell yell, made our own yell yell, singing BINUS mars, and BINUSIAN mars.

2nd, 3rd, 4th day of GO is explain us about rules, campus registration, student organization, ect. My name is not in absence list at BBN02, and I just realize that in the 3rd day of GO. I’m in the wrong batch and wrong class. I’m supposed to be on the 4th batch DBN02, luckily is I’m not the only one who’s on the wrong batch. David is supposed to at DBN02 too, the same batch with me. Virgi and Wafa is not on the wrong batch, but they also on the Global Class with me.

the 5th day of GO is an togetherness and EXPO. We are all gather at syahdan. We’re singing our class yell yell, and having fun. EXPO is to registered a student organization. I applied for AIESEC and BNEC.

At the end of GO, we’re attended CONVOCATION CEREMONY. It’s an event for welcoming every binusian 2019. From Kemanggisan campus, Alam Sutra, even JWC campus for BINUS International student. I’m attending the 1st shift, morning to afternoon.

Academic Orientation

AO introduced us to the curriculum. Mostly we learn about algorithm (for informatics engineering student only), we learn about programming that we supposed to learn for the 3rd semester (lab assistant said that himself), we learn about c++ and stuff. It’s really hard because I’ve never learn that in High School, and most of my friends already knew that. At the end of the AO, we having a test. I’m really confused. I only answer 1 out of 5 question in programming. But I fill the essay, not complete but good enough, I think.

HTTP is HIMTI Togetherness and top performance. It held on 12 Sept at BBPT III. HTTP is an event for welcoming new member of all major at School of Computer Science. Mobile Application Technology, Game Application Technology, Informatics Engineering (regular, Global Class, and double degree Math-Stat), and Cyber Security. There’s a drama, music, interview from successfull binusian, even DJ. I’m having fun, but I’m a little bit disappointed. This event is held from morning to evening, we’re all get lunch but I’m still hungry. It would be better if we paying 150 thousand rupiahs without got any food and they just have to say “bring food from home”.

Organizational Skills

Talk about Organizational Skills, I’m not an expert. I ever joined in student body at Junior High School and Remaja Masjid Baitul Mu’minin (organization for teenager at mosque near my house) as a member, that means I’m not contribute too much. I’m actually “anti social” since I was in 9th grade, there’s something happened at that time that made me an anti social person, but I want to change. College is my chance to start my organizational experience. Every saturday during GO, expo held. I applied AIESEC and BNEC. My sister suggested it. Actually I also want to apply BNTC, but my house is far from binus, so I thought it would be tiring, besides 2 organization would be enough for starters.

After I applied for AIESEC, they send me an email to fill the question at booklet. They also wanted me to make CV, choose what position that I want if I get accepted, photos. I fill the booklet as best as I could because I really want to get accepted. I want to learn about leadership, and improve my other soft skills and many people believe that AIESEC is a good place to learn all that. After I sent the fill form, CV, etc they contact me to interview, and my interviewer is Miss Merry. I’m very nervous, during the interview I’m stutter. Miss Merry keep saying “Don’t be so nervous, It’s not an Interogation”, but I keep feeling that way. She’s a really nice person, Miss Merry. After the interview she’s talks a lot about her experience in AIESEC, and I enjoy the chat. I have to wait a week for the rasult. I’m very happy that I got accepted.

The next one is BNEC. BNEC is and English Club. After I applied BNEC, they contact me to attend TOEFL test. I took a TOEFL test on bad condition and I got bad score for it. 487, very disappointing. 56 lower than the last time I took a TOEFL test. After took a TOEFL test, I’m applying to be BNEC member, I attend welcome party BNEC and it was fun. I’m having acquintance from different major. We are all having fun, we playing a lot of games with team up.

I hope after I join AIESEC and BNEC, I have a lot of experience and a lot of friends/acquintance, and I hope I could I
